Just a simple portrait of ~Ed-Selecta who is in fact a DJ. Expect more of these i'm trying to improve my speed and techniques. This was done rather fast. Guess about 4 hours in total. Painted in Adobe photoshop using a Wacom Graphire 3.
I experimented with skin in this one, I think it looks a lot more realistic than I've done before  If you're interested here is a Walkthrough from sketch to finished piece. Enjoy |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
