Taddaaa! I'm back! I haven't done any artwork in FOREVER so don't expect anything too great lol
I'm working hard though, trying to remember "how stuff works". Slowly getting there so expect more new things as soon as I get the hang of it. Consider this practice
--- The story of Arabella, a peasant girl banished to the seas by the mother of the prince of the lands who lost his heart to her and she to him.
--- I tried to portray the dying heart of a person who is kept from what/who they love.
I have plenty of more thoughts about this subject but I prefer to leave it open to your own interpretation.
--- Thanks a lot to *Hanratty-Stock for her lovely stock photo which I used as a reference.
--- This is a combination of digital painting and repainting and many texture layers.

The water scene is absolutely gorgeous... The jellyfish and her tail are my favorite parts because of how real they look. I really like how she's staring up towards the light and the surface. Out of curiosity, where did you hear of this story?
