Whoa this took forever! But as promised here is a new painting. I've been busy lately but I finally had some time for myself.

I enjoyed painting the dress in my last deviation so much that I decided to try another one.
Since I'd love it myself I decided I'd paint myself with such a spectacular gown as it will probably take a while before my wedding bells ring :lol:

Took about 2 weeks to finish. Just worked on it on and off.

It was all painted from scratch in Photoshop and Painter. Reference used for myself, the bird and the gown.

I just love the bird. It's feathers and tail are so beautiful. I like your wings also. The dress work is breathtaking. It reminds me when I worked on cakes.

So gorgeous! The bird looks very realistic, and everything fits together wonderfully.
It reminds me almost as something that could be used for a wedding. It's so special.

That's amazing, really well painted. One or two things seem amiss with it, though; for example, the wings look as if they are not actually attatched to the centre of your back, the top part of your dress seems really loose, and your eyes seem like they're looking in different directions.

Apart from those [tiny] things, this is a fantabulous piece of art. :)

Loves is Em! I think the right arm ould use a bit of work...maybe it is a bit short? Or maybe some more light/shadows?

I dunno but this is a super nice piece! I love the colors and ho the complement eachother..great job as usual!
